  The SAP transaction code CGD1 is used to maintain phrase languages in the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) module. This transaction code allows users to create, edit, and delete phrase languages in the system.

  The CGD1 transaction code is used to maintain phrase languages in the EHS module. This includes creating new phrase languages, editing existing phrase languages, and deleting phrase languages. The phrase language is used to define the language in which phrases are displayed in the EHS module. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  To use the CGD1 transaction code, follow these steps 
  1. Enter the transaction code CGD1 into the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” button to create a new phrase language. 
  3. Enter the language name and description for the new phrase language. 
  4. Select “Save” to save the new phrase language. 
  5. To edit an existing phrase language, select it from the list and then select “Change”. 
  6. Make any necessary changes to the phrase language and then select “Save” to save your changes. 
  7. To delete a phrase language, select it from the list and then select “Delete”. 
  8. Confirm that you want to delete the phrase language by selecting “Yes”. 
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is important to note that when creating or editing a phrase language, all phrases must be entered in the same language as specified in the language name field of the phrase language record. Additionally, it is recommended that users only delete a phrase language if it is no longer needed as this action cannot be undone.
