    Salaried non-exempt is a term used in SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) Personnel Administration (PA) to refer to employees who are paid a fixed salary and are not exempt from overtime pay. This type of employee is subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and must be paid overtime for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek. 
    
    How to use it: 
    In SAP HCM PA, salaried non-exempt employees are identified by their wage type. The wage type for salaried non-exempt employees is typically “SNE” or “SNEX”. This wage type should be entered into the system when setting up the employee’s payroll information. Additionally, the employee’s overtime rate should be entered into the system as well. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When setting up salaried non-exempt employees in SAP HCM PA, it is important to ensure that the employee’s overtime rate is correctly entered into the system. This will ensure that the employee is paid correctly for any overtime hours worked.
