Component Name: Sales and Distribution
Description: Customer who isn’t among an organization’s regular customers.
Key Concepts: A one-time customer is a customer who only purchases goods or services from a company once. This type of customer is not expected to make any future purchases and is not assigned a customer number. In SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), one-time customers are created in the system as a way to track and manage the sales process for these customers. How to use it: In SAP SD, one-time customers can be created by entering the customer’s name, address, and contact information into the system. Once the customer is created, they can be assigned to an existing sales order or a new sales order can be created for them. The sales order will contain all of the necessary information about the customer and their purchase. Tips & Tricks: When creating a one-time customer in SAP SD, it is important to make sure that all of the necessary information is entered correctly. This will ensure that the customer’s purchase is tracked accurately and that any future communication with them is done correctly. Related Information: One-time customers are different from regular customers in SAP SD. Regular customers are assigned a customer number and are expected to make future purchases from the company. For more information on regular customers in SAP SD, please refer to the SAP Help documentation.
