  • Key Concepts: A snapshot in SAP SCM-SOP Sales & Operations Planning is a point-in-time view of the current planning situation. It captures the current state of the planning data and allows users to compare different versions of the plan. Snapshots can be used to track changes over time and to identify areas of improvement.
    How to use it: Snapshots can be created manually or automatically. To create a snapshot manually, go to the “Snapshots” tab in the SAP SCM-SOP Sales & Operations Planning application. Select “Create Snapshot” and enter a name for the snapshot. The snapshot will be created and stored in the system. To view a snapshot, select it from the list of available snapshots.
    Tips & Tricks: It is important to give each snapshot a meaningful name so that it can be easily identified later. Additionally, it is recommended to take snapshots regularly so that changes can be tracked over time.
