SAP Term: planning data permission

Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Planning Data Permission is a feature of the SAP SCM-IBP-COL Collaboration and Process Management component that allows users to control who can view, edit, and delete planning data. It is used to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data.

    How to use it:
Planning Data Permission can be used by assigning permission levels to users or user groups. These permission levels can be set for each planning object, such as a product, customer, or supplier. The permission levels are View, Edit, and Delete.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to remember that the permission levels are cumulative. For example, if a user has View permission for a planning object, they will also have Edit and Delete permissions for that object.
