  Inactive items can be used to keep track of products or services that have been discontinued. To make an item inactive, go to the Item Master Data window and select the item you want to make inactive. Then, click on the “Inactive” checkbox and save the changes.

  When making an item inactive, it is important to note that all existing stock of the item will be removed from inventory. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all existing stock of the item has been sold before making it inactive.
