What is deposit date in SAP SBO - SAP Business One?

  • Description: The date on which amounts that received by the company in any payment mean, such as cash, check, bill of exchange and credit card were transferred to the bank or credit card company.

    The deposit date in SAP Business One (SBO) is the date when a payment is received and deposited into the company's bank account. It is used to track payments and reconcile bank statements. The deposit date is also used to calculate the due date for invoices and other financial documents. 
    
    How to use it: 
    In SBO, the deposit date can be entered manually or automatically. To enter it manually, go to the “Payments” tab in the “Accounts Receivable” module and select the payment you want to enter a deposit date for. Then, enter the deposit date in the “Deposit Date” field. To enter it automatically, go to the “Settings” tab in the “Accounts Receivable” module and select “Automatic Deposit Date”. This will automatically enter the deposit date when a payment is received. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to keep track of your deposit dates in SBO as they are used to calculate due dates for invoices and other financial documents. Additionally, it is important to ensure that your deposit dates are accurate as they are used to reconcile bank statements.
