This can be done by navigating to the “Define Public Holidays” screen in the Personnel Time Management (PT) component. Here, users can enter the date of the public holiday and assign it to a personnel area, personnel subarea, or employee group.

  When defining public holidays in SAP, it is important to remember that they will only be applied to employees who are assigned to the personnel area, personnel subarea, or employee group that the holiday is assigned to. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all relevant employees are assigned to the correct personnel area or subarea before defining a public holiday.
