Key Concepts: Project Cache is a feature of the SAP Project System (PS) component that allows users to store project-related data in a local cache. This data can then be accessed quickly and easily without having to access the main SAP system. The project cache is stored on the user's local computer and is updated whenever changes are made in the main SAP system. How to use it: To use the project cache, users must first enable it in the SAP system. This can be done by going to the “Settings” tab in the PS component and selecting “Enable Project Cache”. Once enabled, users can access the project cache by clicking on the “Project Cache” tab in the PS component. From here, users can view and edit any project-related data stored in the cache. Tips & Tricks: When using the project cache, it is important to remember that any changes made in the cache will not be reflected in the main SAP system until they are manually synchronized. To do this, users must click on the “Synchronize” button in the project cache window. Additionally, it is important to note that any changes made in the main SAP system will not be reflected in the project cache until it is manually refreshed. To do this, users must click on the “Refresh” button in the project cache window.
