  • Key Concepts:
Hard-booked is a term used in SAP's Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) module. It refers to the process of reserving a resource for a specific project or task. This means that the resource is not available for any other tasks or projects until the hard-booked task is completed.

    How to use it:
In order to hard-book a resource, the user must first select the resource from the list of available resources. Then, they must enter the details of the project or task that the resource will be assigned to. Once this is done, the resource will be marked as hard-booked and will not be available for any other tasks or projects until the hard-booked task is completed.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to remember that hard-booking a resource does not guarantee that the resource will be available for the entire duration of the project or task. It is important to check with the resource before hard-booking them to ensure that they are available for the duration of the project or task.
