You can create them manually. You can copy planned orders from operative planning to long-term planning. They are converted to simulative planned orders that can be processed in long-term planning.

    The long-term planned order can be created manually or automatically in SAP's MRP component. Enter the required information such as material, quantity, and date range for the planned order. Once all the information is entered, click “Save” to create the long-term planned order.
