What is Rejected (Order) in SAP PM - Plant Maintenance?

  • Description: A subphase of the Approval phase in the maintenance process. A rejected maintenance order is in this subphase.

  • Key Concepts: 
    In SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), a rejected order is an order that has been created but not yet released. This means that the order has not been approved by the responsible person and is therefore not yet valid. The order can still be edited and released at a later time. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To create a rejected order in SAP PM, go to the Order Entry screen and select the “Create” option. Enter the necessary information for the order, such as the plant, equipment, and materials. Once all of the information is entered, select “Save” to save the order as a rejected order. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating a rejected order in SAP PM, it is important to make sure that all of the necessary information is entered correctly. This will ensure that when the order is released, it will be valid and can be used for its intended purpose.
