  • Description: A plan in which an employee must be enrolled or have selected prior to and for the duration of participation in another plan.

  • Key Concepts: 
    Corequisite plan is a feature of the SAP PA-BN Benefits component that allows an employee to select a benefit plan that is dependent on another plan. For example, an employee may choose a health plan that requires them to also select a dental plan. 
    
    How to use it: 
    Corequisite plans are set up in the SAP system by the administrator. The administrator can define which plans are corequisite and which are not. When an employee is selecting their benefits, they will be prompted to select any corequisite plans that are required for their chosen plan. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When setting up corequisite plans, it is important to make sure that all of the required plans are included in the list of corequisite plans. This will ensure that employees are able to select all of the necessary plans when they are enrolling in their benefits.
