The planning group can be used to define the scope of the production plan and to assign resources to specific tasks. 
    
    How to use it: 
    In SAP SmartOps, a planning group is created by selecting the “Planning Group” option from the main menu. Once the planning group is created, resources can be added to it by selecting the “Add Resources” option. Resources can be assigned to specific tasks within the planning group by selecting the “Assign Resources” option. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating a planning group, it is important to consider the scope of the production plan and how resources will be assigned. It is also important to consider how resources will be allocated across different tasks within the planning group.
