  • Key Concepts:
Point of Delivery Type (PODT) is a master data component in the SAP IS-U module. It is used to define the type of delivery point for a customer, such as a residential address, business address, or public facility. PODT also defines the type of service that can be provided at the delivery point, such as electricity, gas, or water.

    How to use it:
In order to use PODT, you must first create a customer master record in the SAP IS-U module. Once the customer master record is created, you can assign a PODT to it. This will define the type of delivery point and the type of service that can be provided at that delivery point.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a customer master record in SAP IS-U, make sure to assign the correct PODT to it. This will ensure that the correct services are provided at the delivery point and that billing is accurate.
