  • Description: Indicator in the AFS Basic data. It is used to define the conversion of grid values in the AFS MRP list and AFS stock/requirements list.

  • Key Concepts: 
    Conversion indicator is a field in the Basic Data component of SAP IS-AFS. It is used to indicate whether a material is subject to conversion or not. The indicator can be set to either “Y” (yes) or “N” (no). 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use the conversion indicator, first go to the Basic Data component of SAP IS-AFS. Then, select the material you want to set the conversion indicator for. In the material master record, you will find the conversion indicator field. Set it to either “Y” or “N” depending on whether you want the material to be subject to conversion or not. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to remember that setting the conversion indicator does not automatically convert the material. You must also set up a conversion rule in order for the material to be converted.
