  • Key Concepts:
Conversion material is a type of material in SAP that is used to convert one unit of measure into another. For example, a conversion material can be used to convert kilograms into pounds or liters into gallons. The conversion material is stored in the Material Master and is linked to the unit of measure that it is converting from and to.

    How to use it:
To use conversion material, first create a material master record for the conversion material. Then, enter the unit of measure that the conversion material is converting from and to. Finally, enter the conversion factor for the conversion material. This will allow SAP to automatically convert between the two units of measure when the conversion material is used.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a conversion material, make sure to enter the correct conversion factor. If the wrong factor is entered, then SAP will not be able to accurately convert between the two units of measure. Additionally, it is important to ensure that the correct units of measure are entered for both sides of the conversion.
