  • Description: A means of allowing a cost structure that differs from the product structure. This is important from a Controlling point of view if different departments in an enterprise are responsible for the costs of different parts of the product/project. In this way, specific parts of a BOM can be assigned to different cost assignment elements. You can use WBS elements and network activities as break-points.
