  • Key Concepts:
Roll date is a term used in the FS-LMS Liquidity Management Suite of SAP software. It is the date on which a liquidity plan is rolled forward to the next period. This means that all of the liquidity plan’s parameters, such as cash flow forecasts, are updated to reflect the new period.

    How to use it:
The roll date is set by the user when creating a liquidity plan. This date determines when the liquidity plan will be rolled forward to the next period. The roll date can be changed at any time, but it must be set before the liquidity plan can be used.

    Tips & Tricks:
When setting a roll date, it is important to consider how often the liquidity plan needs to be updated. If the plan needs to be updated frequently, then a shorter roll date should be chosen. On the other hand, if the plan does not need to be updated often, then a longer roll date can be chosen.

    Related Information:
The FS-LMS Liquidity Management Suite also includes other features such as cash flow forecasting and liquidity risk management. These features can help users better manage their liquidity and ensure that their plans are up-to-date and accurate.
