What is subclaim in SAP FS-CM - Claims Management?

  • Component Name: Claims Management

  • Description: Sub-division of a claim into units that can be processed independently. Each subclaim can comprise a subclaim within the overall claim, for example. A new subclaim is opened for each claimant and coverage, and in part for each damaged object. Each subclaim has independent reserves and claim items.
