Key Concepts: Participant roles are used in the FS-CM Claims Management component of SAP to define the roles and responsibilities of different users. They are used to assign tasks and activities to specific users, as well as to control access to certain areas of the system. Participant roles can be assigned to individual users or groups of users. How to use it: In order to use participant roles in FS-CM Claims Management, you must first create a participant role in the system. This can be done by navigating to the “Participant Roles” tab in the system and selecting “Create Participant Role”. You will then be prompted to enter a name for the role, as well as a description of its purpose. Once you have created the role, you can assign it to individual users or groups of users. Tips & Tricks: When creating participant roles, it is important to ensure that they are specific enough to accurately reflect the tasks and activities that will be assigned to them. It is also important to ensure that the roles are not too restrictive, as this could limit user access unnecessarily.
