Key Concepts: A predefined column is a field in the SAP FI-SL Special Purpose Ledger that is already set up and ready to be used. It contains information such as account numbers, cost centers, and other data that can be used to track financial transactions. How to Use it: To use a predefined column, you must first create a ledger in the SAP FI-SL Special Purpose Ledger. Once the ledger is created, you can add predefined columns to it. To do this, go to the “Columns” tab in the ledger and select “Add Predefined Columns”. From there, you can select which columns you would like to add to your ledger. Tips & Tricks: When adding predefined columns to your ledger, make sure that you select the correct columns for your specific needs. For example, if you are tracking financial transactions related to cost centers, make sure that you select the “Cost Center” column.
