What is intermediate asset in SAP FI-AA - Asset Accounting?

  • Description: In Russia, an asset master record that you post acquisition and production costs to until such time as you capitalize the asset. When you capitalize the asset, you transfer the costs from the intermediate asset to the real asset. You use intermediate assets for fixed assets that you buy from other manufacturers, and for fixed assets that you manufacture yourself assets under construction.
