  A watch is a feature in the SAP Knowledge Management Collaboration (KMC) Basic Tools component that allows users to keep track of changes to documents and folders. It allows users to be notified when changes are made to documents or folders they are watching. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To use the watch feature, users must first select the document or folder they wish to watch. Then, they can click on the “Watch” button in the toolbar. This will add the document or folder to their list of watched items. To stop watching an item, users can click on the “Unwatch” button in the toolbar. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  Users can customize their watch settings by clicking on the “Settings” button in the toolbar. This will allow them to choose which types of changes they want to be notified about (e.g. document changes, folder changes, etc.).
