  • Description: A user who has initiated an online collaborative session in the portal. Depending on the type of session being conducted, a session guest may have more privileges than the remaining participants session guests. For example, the host may be the only participant able to invite additional users to join the current session.

    A session host is a user in the SAP Enterprise Portal who has the ability to create and manage collaboration sessions. A session host is responsible for setting up the session, inviting participants, and managing the session. The session host can also assign roles to participants, such as presenter, moderator, or participant. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To become a session host in the SAP Enterprise Portal, you must first be granted permission by an administrator. Once you have been granted permission, you can create a new session by selecting “Create Session” from the Collaboration menu. You will then be prompted to enter a name for the session and select a template. Once you have created the session, you can invite participants by entering their email addresses or selecting them from your contacts list. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating a new session, it is important to select an appropriate template that will best suit your needs. Different templates offer different features and capabilities, so it is important to select one that will best meet your needs. Additionally, it is important to assign roles to participants so that everyone knows their responsibilities during the session.
