  • Description: A collaboration tool for portal users, whereby an entire desktop or specific desktop application running on a user's machine is shared with any number of online participants.     Desktop sharing is a feature of the SAP Knowledge Management Collaboration Basic Tools component. It allows users to share their desktop with other users in real-time. This allows for collaboration and communication between users, as well as the ability to view and edit documents together. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use desktop sharing, users must first be connected to the same network. Once connected, users can initiate a desktop sharing session by selecting the “Share Desktop” option from the Collaboration menu. The user who initiates the session will be able to control which parts of their desktop are shared with other users. Other users can then join the session and view and edit documents together.
