    A draft datasource is a type of datasource used in SAP BusinessObjects Data Federator (EIM-DI-DF).     To use a draft datasource, users must first create a query in the Data Federator Designer. Once the query is created, users can select the “Create Draft Datasource” option from the menu. This will create a virtual datasource that can be used to test and refine the query without having to wait for the query to be processed by the underlying data source.

    When creating a draft datasource, it is important to remember that any changes made to the query will not be reflected in the underlying data source until the draft datasource is saved as a permanent datasource. Additionally, it is important to note that any changes made to the underlying data source will not be reflected in the draft datasource until it is refreshed.
