Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Leading validity area is a feature of the EHS-ERP EHS Management in ERP component of SAP. It allows users to define a validity area for each EHS object, which is used to determine the validity of the object in different organizational units. The leading validity area is the one that takes precedence over all other validity areas when determining the validity of an object.

    How to use it:
To use the leading validity area feature, users must first define a validity area for each EHS object. This can be done in the EHS-ERP EHS Management in ERP component of SAP. Once the validity areas have been defined, users can then set a leading validity area for each object. This will determine which validity area takes precedence when determining the validity of an object.

    Tips & Tricks:
When setting up leading validity areas, it is important to consider how different organizational units may affect the validity of an object. For example, if an object is valid in one organizational unit but not in another, then it may be necessary to set a leading validity area that takes this into account.
