    Exception value is a feature in SAP EHS Management in ERP that allows users to set a threshold value for a particular hazardous material. If the amount of the hazardous material exceeds the threshold value, an alert is triggered. This alert can be used to take corrective action or to inform the relevant personnel. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use exception value, first select the hazardous material for which you want to set a threshold. Then enter the threshold value and save it. Whenever the amount of the hazardous material exceeds the threshold, an alert will be triggered. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to set realistic threshold values that are appropriate for the particular hazardous material. Setting too low of a threshold may result in too many false alarms, while setting too high of a threshold may result in not enough alerts being triggered.
