Component: CRM-EM
Component Name: CRM Entitlement Management
Description: Advance consolidation of the purchases and returns of a certain business partner. In this way, you do not invoice a deposit amount for every purchase, and you do not have to pay the deposit back for every return. You simply consolidate the purchases and returns at regular intervals. If a negative balance occurs, you invoice the business partner for the value required; if the balance is positive, you carry over this balance into the next period. You only transfer the consolidated summaries to financial accounting for settlement, not each individual entitlement data record.
Key Concepts: Summary in CRM-EM is a feature that allows users to quickly view the status of their entitlements. It provides an overview of the entitlements and their associated details, such as the entitlement type, start and end dates, and the current status. How to use it: To access the Summary feature, users must first log into their CRM-EM account. Once logged in, they can select the Summary tab from the main menu. This will open a page that displays all of the user’s entitlements in a table format. The table includes columns for each entitlement type, start and end dates, and current status. Tips & Tricks: Users can filter their entitlements by type or status by using the drop-down menus at the top of the page. This makes it easier to find specific entitlements or to view all entitlements of a certain type or status. Related Information: The Summary feature is just one of many features available in CRM-EM. Other features include creating and managing entitlements, tracking usage, and generating reports. For more information about CRM-EM, please visit SAP’s website.
