  A report variant is a feature in SAP Controlling (CO) that allows users to save the settings of a report so that it can be reused in the future. This includes the selection criteria, layout, and other settings. Report variants are useful for saving time when running reports with the same settings multiple times. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To create a report variant, first run the report with the desired settings. Then, go to the “Variants” tab and click “Create”. Enter a name for the variant and click “Save”. The report variant will now be available for use in the future. To use a report variant, select it from the “Variants” tab and click “Execute”. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When creating a report variant, make sure to give it a descriptive name so that it is easy to identify later on. It is also helpful to add comments to explain what the variant is used for. This will make it easier to find and use the right variant when needed.
