What is Unified Demand Forecast in SAP (CA-DDF-RT - Demand Data Foundation for Retail)?

The thus generated "UDF forecast" always applies to a particular product, in a particular location, in a given context date, price, offer, or any combination of demand influencing factors, for a specific period of time a day or a week. UDF supports demand decomposition by demand influencing factor DIF: It indicates how much of the demand is due to the baseline demand and how much is due to each DIF for example, system DIFs such as tactic, seasonality, offer, price. Technically, UDF is a module in SAP Customer Activity Repository.
