    A family in SAP BusinessObjects Information Design Tool (IDT) is a collection of objects that are related to each other. It is used to group objects together and make them easier to manage. Families can contain tables, columns, joins, and other objects. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To create a family in IDT, select the objects you want to include in the family and then right-click on one of them. Select “Create Family” from the menu and enter a name for the family. The objects will be grouped together in the family. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating a family, it is important to consider how the objects are related to each other. This will help you determine which objects should be included in the family and how they should be organized.
