  • Key Concepts:
Recipient type is a component of the SAP Communication Services module. It is used to define the type of recipient for a communication, such as an email address, fax number, or SMS number. The recipient type also defines the format of the communication, such as HTML or plain text.

    How to use it:
To use recipient type, first create a communication service in the SAP system. Then, define the recipient type for each communication service. This can be done by selecting the appropriate recipient type from the drop-down list in the Communication Services window.

    Tips & Tricks:
When defining a recipient type, it is important to ensure that the format of the communication is compatible with the recipient’s system. For example, if sending an email to a user with an older version of Outlook, it may be necessary to select a plain text format instead of HTML.
