  • Key Concepts:
A recipient system is a system in the SAP landscape that receives transported objects from a source system. The recipient system is the target of the transport request, and the transported objects are imported into the recipient system. The recipient system is part of the Change and Transport System (CTS) in SAP.

    How to use it:
To use a recipient system, you must first create a transport request in the source system. This transport request contains all of the objects that you want to transport to the recipient system. Once you have created the transport request, you can then release it and it will be sent to the recipient system. The objects in the transport request will then be imported into the recipient system.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a transport request, make sure that all of the objects that you want to transport are included in the request. Also, make sure that you have released the transport request before attempting to import it into the recipient system.
