  Validity period is a feature of the Business Rule Framework (BRF) component in SAP.   How to use it: 
  To set up a validity period for a rule, users must first create the rule in the BRFplus Workbench. Once the rule is created, users can select the “Validity Period” tab and enter the start and end dates for the rule. The rule will then only be active during this period.
