  Assign subsequently is a feature of the SAP ArchiveLink component that allows documents to be assigned to an object in the system after the object has been created.   How to use it: 
  To use the assign subsequently feature, first create the object in the system that you want to associate with a document. Then, open the ArchiveLink component and select the “Assign Subsequently” option. You will then be prompted to enter the object ID and select the document you want to assign. Once you have entered this information, click “OK” and the document will be associated with the object. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When using the assign subsequently feature, make sure that you have entered the correct object ID for the object you are trying to associate with a document. If you enter an incorrect ID, then the document will not be associated with the correct object.
