Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts: RFC Destination is a component of the BC-MID Middleware in SAP. It is a communication channel that allows two SAP systems to exchange data. It is used to connect two different systems, such as an SAP system and a non-SAP system, or two different SAP systems.
How to use it: To use an RFC Destination, you must first create it in the SAP system. This can be done by going to the transaction code SM59 and selecting “Create”. You will then need to enter the details of the destination, such as the name, type, and target system. Once the RFC Destination has been created, you can use it to send data between two systems.
Tips & Tricks: When creating an RFC Destination, make sure to select the correct type for your needs. For example, if you are connecting two different SAP systems, you should select “Remote Function Call (RFC)” as the type. Additionally, make sure that the target system is correctly configured before attempting to use the RFC Destination.
