    A mandatory segment is a segment in an IDoc (Intermediate Document) that must be filled in order to successfully send the IDoc. It is part of the ALE (Application Link Enabling) Integration Technology component of SAP. 
    
    How to use it: 
    When creating an IDoc, the mandatory segments must be filled in with the appropriate data. This data is used to identify the sender and receiver of the IDoc, as well as other important information. Once all mandatory segments are filled in, the IDoc can be sent.
