  • Description: The amount of time that must pass before application data can be archived. Depending on the application, the basis for calculating the residence time can be the creation date, the posting period, the goods issue date, or another point in time. The residence time is usually specified in days. &EXAMPLE& The basis for calculating the residence time is the creation date. The default residence time is 90 days. In the next write phase, all data that is older than 90 days will be archived. Data that was created only 60 days ago will not be archived.
