What is tagging in SAP BC-I18 - Internationalization (I18N)?

  • Description: Association of attributes of text with a point or range of the primary text. The value of a particular tag is not generally considered to be a part of the "content" of the text. &EXAMPLE& Marking the language or the font for a portion of text

    Tagging is a feature of SAP BC-I18 Internationalization (I18N) that allows users to assign labels to objects in the system. This allows for easier identification and organization of objects, as well as providing a way to quickly search for objects with specific tags. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use tagging, users must first create a tag. This can be done by selecting the “Create Tag” option from the menu. Once the tag is created, it can be assigned to any object in the system. To assign a tag, select the object and then select the “Assign Tag” option from the menu. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating tags, it is important to make sure that they are descriptive and easy to remember. This will make it easier to find objects with specific tags when searching. Additionally, it is important to keep track of which tags have been assigned to which objects, as this will help with organization and searching.
