  • Key Concepts:
A workbench request is a type of transport request in the SAP Change and Transport System (CTS). It is used to transport objects from one system to another, such as from a development system to a production system. The objects can include customizing settings, programs, and other development objects.

    How to use it:
To create a workbench request, you must first create a transport request in the CTS. Then, you can add the objects you want to transport to the request. Once all the objects have been added, you can release the request and it will be transported to the target system.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a workbench request, it is important to make sure that all of the objects are compatible with the target system. If there are any incompatibilities, they must be resolved before the request can be released. Additionally, it is important to check that all of the objects have been added correctly before releasing the request.
