  • Key Concepts: The transport directory is a component of the SAP Change and Transport System (CTS). It is a repository of all the transport requests and tasks that have been created in the system. It stores information about the objects that are being transported, such as their names, types, and versions. It also stores information about the transport requests themselves, such as their status, priority, and who created them.
    How to use it: The transport directory can be accessed from the SAP GUI by navigating to the “Change & Transport System” menu. From there, you can view all of the transport requests and tasks that have been created in the system. You can also create new transport requests and tasks from this menu.
    Tips & Tricks: When creating a new transport request or task, it is important to give it a meaningful name so that it can be easily identified in the transport directory. Additionally, it is important to assign a priority to each request or task so that they can be processed in order of importance.
