  • Key Concepts:
A recipient is a user or group of users who are authorized to receive a transport request in the Change & Transport System (CTS) of SAP. The recipient is responsible for importing the transport request into the target system.

    How to use it:
In order to assign a recipient to a transport request, the user must first create the transport request in the CTS. Once the request is created, the user can assign a recipient by selecting the “Assign Recipient” option from the CTS menu. The user can then select an existing user or group of users from the list of available recipients.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to ensure that the recipient has sufficient authorization to import and execute the transport request in the target system. It is also important to ensure that the recipient is aware of their responsibility for importing and executing the transport request.
