Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Overtaker is a feature of the SAP Change and Transport System (CTS) that allows users to take over the transport of objects from another user. This feature is useful when a user needs to take over the transport of objects from another user who is no longer available or has left the organization.

    How to use it:
To use the overtaker feature, the user must first log into the SAP system and then navigate to the CTS menu. From there, they can select the “Overtaker” option and enter the name of the user whose transport they wish to take over. The system will then display a list of objects that are currently being transported by that user. The user can then select which objects they wish to take over and click “Take Over”.

    Tips & Tricks:
When taking over a transport, it is important to ensure that all of the objects in the transport are compatible with each other. If any of the objects are incompatible, it could cause errors or unexpected results when transporting them. It is also important to ensure that all of the objects in the transport have been tested before taking them over.
