  • Key Concepts:
msprot is a component of the SAP Client/Server Technology (BC-CST). It is a security protocol that provides authentication and encryption for communication between SAP clients and servers. It is based on the Kerberos protocol and is used to protect data from unauthorized access.

    How to use it:
In order to use msprot, the SAP client and server must both be configured to use the protocol. The client must be configured with the server's public key, and the server must be configured with the client's public key. Once this is done, msprot will be used to authenticate and encrypt all communication between the two systems.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to keep the public keys up-to-date in order for msprot to work properly. Additionally, it is recommended that you use a strong password for authentication in order to ensure that your data remains secure.

    Related Information:
For more information about msprot, please refer to the SAP documentation on Client/Server Technology (BC-CST). Additionally, you can find more information about Kerberos on the official website of the Kerberos Project.
