  • Key Concepts:
A lock entry is a record in the lock table that is created when a user attempts to access a locked object. The lock entry contains information about the user, the object, and the type of lock that was requested. The lock table is used to ensure that only one user can access an object at a time.

    How to use it:
In order to use a lock entry, a user must first request a lock on an object. This can be done using the Enqueue function in the BC-CST-EQ component. Once the lock has been requested, the system will create a lock entry in the lock table. The user can then access the object and make changes as needed. When the user is finished, they must release the lock using the Dequeue function.

    Tips & Tricks:
When requesting a lock, it is important to make sure that you are using the correct type of lock for your needs. Different types of locks have different levels of protection and can affect how other users are able to access the object. Additionally, it is important to remember to release the lock when you are finished with it so that other users can access it.
