  • Key Concepts:
Weighted score is a metric used in the SAP AP-SPA Supplier Performance Assessment component to measure the performance of suppliers. It is calculated by assigning weights to different criteria such as quality, delivery, and cost, and then combining them into a single score. The higher the weighted score, the better the supplier's performance.

    How to use it:
Weighted score is used to evaluate suppliers and compare their performance against each other. To calculate the weighted score, first assign weights to each criterion based on its importance. Then, calculate the individual scores for each criterion and multiply them by their respective weights. Finally, add up all the weighted scores to get the total weighted score.

    Tips & Tricks:
When assigning weights to criteria, make sure that they accurately reflect their importance. For example, if quality is more important than cost, assign a higher weight to quality than cost. Also, make sure that all criteria are given equal consideration when calculating the weighted score.

    Related Information:
The SAP AP-SPA Supplier Performance Assessment component also includes other metrics such as supplier rating and supplier risk rating. These metrics can be used in conjunction with weighted score to get a more comprehensive view of supplier performance.
