  • Key Concepts:
Submission status is a field in the SAP SRM RFQ Processing component that indicates the current status of a request for quotation (RFQ). It is used to track the progress of an RFQ from its creation to its completion. The submission status can be one of several values, including “Open”, “Closed”, “Awarded”, and “Cancelled”.

    How to use it:
The submission status field is used to track the progress of an RFQ. When an RFQ is created, the submission status is set to “Open”. As vendors submit their bids, the submission status is updated to “Closed”. Once a vendor has been selected and awarded the RFQ, the submission status is set to “Awarded”. If the RFQ is cancelled for any reason, the submission status is set to “Cancelled”.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to keep track of the submission status of an RFQ in order to ensure that it is progressing as expected. If an RFQ has been open for too long or if it has been cancelled without explanation, it may be necessary to investigate further.
