  Activity stay type is a feature in SAP ERM that allows users to define the duration of an activity. It is used to determine the length of time an activity can remain open before it is automatically closed. This feature helps to ensure that activities are completed in a timely manner and that resources are not wasted on activities that have been open for too long. 
  
  How to use it: 
  Activity stay types can be set up in the SAP ERM system by navigating to the “Activity Stay Types” tab in the “Settings” menu. From there, users can define the duration of an activity by selecting a stay type from the list of available options. Once a stay type has been selected, it will be applied to all activities with that type. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  It is important to note that activity stay types are only applicable to activities that have been created in SAP ERM. If an activity is created outside of SAP ERM, then the stay type will not be applied. Additionally, it is important to remember that activity stay types are only applicable to activities that have been created with a specific duration. If an activity does not have a specified duration, then the stay type will not be applied.
